Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department Offers Walk-in COVID 19 Clinics
FRANKLIN & WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, ILLINOIS – In a continued effort to vaccinate the community, Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department will be offering walk-in vaccinations to those 18 years of age and older. No appointment is needed. You must be a resident and/ or work in Franklin or Williamson county for this walk-in service. Walk-in services will be determined daily based on staffing levels. Information before coming to the clinic:
• If you received MODERNA, please make sure it has been at least 28 days AFTER your first dose.
• If you received PFIZER, please make sure it has been at least 21 days AFTER your first dose. *Walk-ins accepted if you had an appointment during that clinic week.
• If you have an appointment scheduled for the future, Bi-County staff can cancel your appointment if you are unable to.
Mass vaccination clinics are held:
A. Tuesdays: The Pavilion (Marion, IL) 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. with last walk-in at 3:00.
B. Wednesdays: The Pavilion (Marion, IL) 7:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. with last walk-in at 5:00 p.m.
C. Thursdays: VF Factory Outlet Store (West Frankfort, IL) 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. with last walk-in at 3:00p.m.
If you would like to volunteer at our mass vaccination clinics, contact Bi-County Health at (618) 439-0951 or (618) 993-8111. Bi-County Health mass vaccination clinic forms can be found at www.bicountyhealth.org. Please feel free to follow Bi-County Health on Facebook as well. Vaccination Sign-up Assistance Available @ Herrin City Library
If you need a computer to sign-up, the library has computers that may be used by anyone. You do not need to have a library card to use the computers.
You may also call the library @ 942-6109 and we can assist you.
Need your ticket~reciept printed? Send it to herrincitylibrary@gmail.com and call to arrange pick-up. Prints are .15 cents a page.
The Herrin City Library is now open for inside use. We are still offering Curbside Pickup for anyone who would still like to use this service. Hours for Curbside:Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm,Friday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, andSaturday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Masks are required for picking up items at the door.Services available at curbside are

- scanning,
- copying,
- printing, and more.

COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Available! Jackson County is partnering with the State of Illinois and Illinois National Guard to expand vaccination opportunities.
Who Can Make an Appointment: Any Illinois resident who is eligible under Phase 1a or Phase 1b of the State vaccinatn plan, including anyone age 65 and older. The phases are detailed in the State Mass Vaccination Plan at https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccination-location.
Ineligible persons will be turned away at the clinic. Note: the expanded Phase 1b, which includes those ages 18-64 with certain underlying medical conditions, does not begin until February 25; those eligible under the expansion should not schedule an appointment before that date.
