Herrin City Library is open to inside use.
The Herrin City Library reopened to inside use on Monday, January 25, 2021. Masks are required for everyone over the age of 2. Curbside pickup will still be available for item pickup, copying, printing, faxing and scanning. Please call the library at 942-6109 if you have questions. All book returns, indoor and outdoor, are now open. Newspapers & magazines are available for browsing.
Current Library Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm,
Friday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, and
Saturday, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

MASK EXCEPTIONS:
The following categories of people are exempt from the requirement to wear a mask:
- A child 2 years of age and under;
- A person with a disability who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, for reasons related to the disability;
To protect all our patrons, Herrin City Library is requiring that everyone who enters wears a mask. If you are unable to wear a mask because of a disability, we have two options to offer you:
- We have Face Shields available. Please call the library at 942-6109 and we will place one in the free mask bin for you to use and keep.
- We have curbside pick up available for all services. Give us call and we will assist you with your request.
