Author Held Book Signing As Fundraiser For Linda Jennings Banks History Room
Herrin native Emily Priddy signed copies of her new novel, Greetings from Coldwater, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. at the Herrin City Library in conjunction with the library’s Christmas book sale. Copies were $15 each; and profits from the sale of the book went to support the Linda Jennings Banks Herrin History Room at the library.
Greetings from Coldwater tells the story of Sierra Goldsmith, a recently unemployed photojournalist who is headed west on Route 66 to scatter her late father’s ashes in the Pacific Ocean when a migraine drives her off the road and into the dilapidated but historic Tumbleweed Motel in the fictional town of Coldwater, New Mexico.
