We have created 2″ wooden nickels as part of the Celebration of Herrin’s 125th anniversary! Each person who donates $5.00 or more to the History Room, will receive a wooden nickel as a thank you. Donations help fund equipment, displays, research and special projects in the Herrin History Room. The depot on the front is based on Sandy Clark’s painting from an old photograph.

How to make a donation: You may make a donation at the circulation desk at the library, by mailing a check to Herrin City Library, 120 N 13th Street, Herrin, IL or you may use the link below.

Directions for online donations: If you would like an anniversary nickel mailed to you, please include $3.00 for postage. After making an online donation, please email your name and address to herrincitylibrary@gmail.com and we will mail your wooden nickel.
