We have created calendars as part of the celebration of Herrin’s 125th anniversary! Each person who donates $10.00 to the History Room, will receive a calendar as a thank you. Donations help fund equipment, displays, research and special projects in the Herrin History Room.

A Herrin History Room volunteer searched the microfilm and noted past Herrin events for each day of the year and created the basic layout. Herrin City Library patron, Steve Wooldridge, provided the painting for the cover. Herrin History Room Research Librarian, Lisa Carnaghi added the old photographs and French Studio did the rest. 

How to make a donation: You may make a donation of $10.00 or more at the circulation desk at the library. If you would like a calendar mailed to you, please mail a check for the $10.00 donation plus $5.00 shipping = $15.00 to Herrin City Library History Room, 120 N 13th, Herrin, IL  62948.

Directions for online donations: If you would like a calendar mailed to you, please use the link below. $5.00 has already been added for postage. After making an online donation, please email your name and address to herrincitylibrary@gmail.com and we will mail your calendar.
