This exploration will explain how the evolution of medical resuscitation techniques impact on our understanding of clinical death. Mr. De Filippis is a graduate of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel elementary school in Herrin, Herrin High School, Southern Illinois University, and St. Procopious College, (now known as Benedictine University,) DePaul University. He resides in Carbondale, IL. He was also the recipient of the Herrin Festa Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013.
He is a Fellow of the American Institute for Philosophical and Cultural Thought (AIPCT), author of nine books, weekly columnist and podcaster with a long career in business management, management consulting and executive coaching. He is also a columnist for the Carbondale Times and hosts a regular talk show on WDBX 91.1 FM “Community Radio for Southern Illinois,” at 10 AM every Wednesday.
