Haunted Southern Illinois: Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 2:00 pm
Kari Dillingham will speak about ghostly and eerie stories of southern Illinois including Starved Rock, Kaskaskia, the Old Slave House, and some of her own experiences with ghost “hunting.” Since Europeans first made their way down the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers, there have been strange and creepy tales to share about Illinois.
Kari Dillingham currently teaches Illinois and U.S. History classes at Centralia High School and has been there since 2004. She earned a B.S. from Southeast Missouri State University, a M.A. from University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a B.S. from SIU.
The event is free and open to the public. Many thanks to the Friends of the Herrin City Library for sponsoring this event.
