September 11, 2001: The Day That Changed The World
9/11 Twenty Years Later
This educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks. Told across 14 posters, this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection. All ages are invited to view “Sept. 11, 2001: The Day That Changed The World,” a 9/11 Memorial and Museum exhibit coming to the Herrin City Library, 120 North 13th Street, Herrin, IL
Masks are required for all patrons inside the library buildings, regardless of vaccination status, in accordance with Herrin City Library guidelines and policy.

In addition to the posters, the display includes books from the library collection for patrons to check-out. You can also create Peace Cranes and Peace Leaves to hang on our Peace Tree. Join the library in never forgetting, but still looking forward.
The display is open to the public and is available to view Tuesday, September 7, 2021, through the end of September.
