The Library Wish List Program is an opportunity to support the library by adding specific, high-need items to the collection in one of two ways: by purchasing them directly from an online bookseller (Amazon) or by donating used items found on the Wish List or listed below.  Wish List items are duplicate items made necessary by loss of or damage to the original, or by high patron demand. The Wish Lists will be updated regularly, so please check back often!

New Items

If you would like to donate a new copy of a specific item you can purchase it directly from our Amazon Wish List. The Library will insert a plate in the inside cover acknowledging your donation and send you a tax receipt for the cost of the item.

Note: When sending an item through Amazon, please note your name and contact information in the “gift note” so that we can give you proper credit for your donation. If you have any problems doing this, or have donated recently without doing this, please email the library (herrincitylibrary@gmail.com) so that we can include your name in the item’s bookplate.

Used Items

If you already own one of the items on the online Wish List (see above) or on the list below and would like to donate it to the Library’s collection, please bring it to the Circulation Desk to receive your tax receipt for the used value of the donation.
