PAYMENTS FOR FINES & FEES: When paying fines and fees, you will need to add a transaction fee of .25 cents for every $10 you are paying.

$1 – $10 = .25 cents
$11 – $20 = .50 cents
$21 – $30 = .75 cents
$31 – $40 = $1.00

DONATIONS: Donations may be made to the Herrin History Room, In Memory of a Loved One, Friends Memberships, or a General Donation to the library.  More information about donations @ Gifts to the Herrin City Library.

Donation Guidelines: Thank you for your donation! 

The following donations are being accepted for children and adults:

  • Books in good condition, free of damage, dirt, odor, mold, and markings.
  • DVDs, and Blu-Rays in good condition, free of scratches and with the original artwork.

The following items are not accepted:

  • Books with water damage, odor, wear or dirt, or mold
  • Books with broken spines, loose pages, or torn covers
  • Encyclopedias
  • Magazines
  • Textbooks
